Muruganar: Poet’s Mala

This simple mala is made with brown striped wood beads, dark blue spacer beads and a simple translucent brown guru bead.

Muruganar (1890-1973) was a devotee of Ramana Maharshi and a significant Tamil poet known for his devotional poetry. He composed thousands of verses that express his love and gratitude for Ramana Maharshi, and he played a crucial role in documenting and promoting Ramana's teachings.

Praise to the holy feet of the One
who inhabits all human forms,
who, everywhere and at all times
speaks through the mouths of all,
and causes the diverse movements
of their minds!
