Fear No More: Mala for Muffin
This mala is inspired by the graceful, contemplative camels at Fear No More Zoo in Northern California, specifically for a commanding and inspiring camel named Muffin.
Muffin, was purchased as a gift to Adi Da Samraj along with a few more camels from Colorado. She is the mother of Green Smoothie and Spirit and half-sister to HiHo. Muffin is formal, yet intimate, she is acting leader of the Sacred Camel Herd.
This leadership can be seen in how she silently commands the gathering and wandering movements of the herd and how she intermittently stands guard while the herd is out browsing in the hillsides. Her leadership also comes forward when something unknown confronts the camels, in these instances whether she knows what to do about it or not she takes the lead on the mood and movements of the camel herd. Muffin also shows much care and respect for Purnimama the eldest female member, she seems to draw her inspiration and calm assertion from watching Purnimama.
