Fear-No-More: Witness Consciousness - Saakshi Mala

~ Fear-No-More Mala Collection ~

This collection is inspired by the Fear-No-More Zoo sanctuaries founded by Adi Da to cultivate a world in which humanity is sensitive to the sacred nature of all life.

Adi Da Samraj teaches that “non-humans are, by their very nature, innately extended in the Field of Transcendental Contemplation. Fundamentally, as an innate characteristic, they Stand Prior to mind. In that sense, the non-humans are (to some degree) already Free.”

Adi Da encourages us to observe the non-humans and learn from them. They do not struggle with the same sense of separation, self-consciousness, and striving that is characteristic of the human mind. They simply are—present, aware, and free.

These malas are an invitation to recognize the sacred presence of all animals and non-human realms, and to meet them with reverence, compassion, and an open heart.

Saakshi means Witness or One Who Sees Clearly.

This mala is inspired by Saakshi, a spunky African Grey parrot who had unbounded love for Adi Da. Read about her heart-felt relationship with Adi Da in First Become Human: Stories of Humor and Compassion by Brad Crawford.

This mala is made with deep green moss agate beads, patina bird spacer beads and a green bird pendant for the guru bead. The faceted beads give extra sparkle to this mala. Moss agate is known for grounding and connection to nature, growth and abundance.
