Fear No More: HiHo Mala

This mala is inspired by the graceful, contemplative camels at Fear No More Zoo in Northern California, specifically for a camel named HiHo.

HiHo’s profile:

HiHo, also a bottle raised baby, though to a lesser degree than Baraka.  HiHo came with the Colorado group, Muffin and HiHo share the same father who’s name was Smoky Joe.

HiHo is the fortifier of the herd’s character.  HiHo is a very spunky guy, perceptive and wise, one who challenges boundaries but also agrees to flex allowing for dynamic growth.  HiHo is the life of the party and in his adulthood he has become sensitive respectful and intelligent, knowing his own limitations and actively conducting himself as an upstanding gentleman despite his inner challenges.

This mala is made with rose quartz beads, white jade beads and a rose quartz camel guru bead. The white jade beads are designed asymmetrically with 8 beads at the bottom of the mala (on one side) and 8 beads at the top of the mala (on the other side). This unique mala design is to honor HiHo’s tendency to “challenges boundaries” and allow for “dynamic growth”.

Rose quartz, also known as the “Heart Stone” is a symbol of unconditional love and infinite peace. Its gentle energy fosters deep inner healing, promoting self-love and emotional well-being. It has been revered for centuries for its ability to enhance positive affirmations, restore trust and harmony in relationships, and aid in emotional healing.
