Fear-No-More: Divine Secrets - Dawn Horse Mala
~ Fear-No- More mala collection:
This collection is inspired by Fear-No-More sanctuary that grew directly out of Adi Da's teaching. It exists to give animals a home where they can live out a contemplative life. Adi Da taught that the egoless nature of reality — the thing spiritual practice is trying to help a person recognize — is perfectly obvious to non-humans. In other words, animals aren't struggling with the sense of separateness and self-consciousness that drives most human suffering; they simply exist freely, without effort.
Animals are natural contemplatives. They live fully present in every moment — and when we quietly observe them, they teach us to do the same.
Each mala in this collection features an animal pendant, that functions as the guru bead, and reminds us to carry deep regard and sensitivity to non-human beings. Wearing one is an invitation to remember what the animals already know.
~ About this mala:
This mala is made with multi-colored agate beads, pearl beads and a white hose pendant.
The agate beads move through a natural earth palette — green, moss, sage, chestnut, terracotta, and deep brown — no two beads holding quite the same shade. Set among this palette are soft, creamy white pearl beads.
The guru bead is a white horse. Horses are watchful animals, alert to everything around them, and yet they rest in that alertness rather than being contracted by it. They do not carry the noise of self-consciousness that most people carry — they are simply, fully present, moving through the world without a story about themselves in it. What they carry instead is a kind of divine secret: the plain, unearned knowledge of their own pure consciousness in the moment.
